About Community Associations Institute (CAI)

What is CAI?

Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national, nonprofit 501(c)(6) association created in 1973 to educate and represent America’s 205,000 residential condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations and related professionals and service providers. The Institute is dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations that promote harmony, community and responsible leadership.

CAI awards professional designations for association managers, works on legislative issues of national importance, researches subjects related to community associations and publishes an extensive library of books, periodicals and brochures related to the industry. A catalog of those publications is available online at CAIonline.org. CAI has more than 17,000 members in 58 chapters throughout the U.S. and in several foreign countries.

About CAI New Hampshire

The New Hampshire Chapter of CAI represents associations, professionals and service providers in the Granite State. CAI-New Hampshire regularly presents educational programs geared to the various segments of the membership, as well as a trade show, golf tournament and other networking events. Through its monthly e-newsletter the Chapter keeps its members up-to-date on chapter activities and brings them informative articles on key topics – from maintenance to landscaping and legal issues.
